N. M. Locke (Nicole) is a Western Australian speculative fiction writer with more story ideas than she can count and a poorly-managed bubble tea addiction.

She loves building colourful, fantastical worlds that reflect the best and worst of reality. In her stories, it’s common to see epic adventures, strong female characters, found families, sassy banter and tough moral choices (usually with a dash of romance woven in).

Nicole is a graduate of the Australian Writers’ Centre’s ‘Write Your Novel’ program and the Writers’ Studio First Draft Online course.
